Lead the Attribute Development
and Validation (ADV) activities for assigned vehicle programs, ensuring all
attribute targets are achieved within timing, cost, and quality constraints.
Act as the primary
representative of vehicle attributes to the Chief Engineer and program
leadership teams.
Coordinate with attribute
managers and technical specialists to resolve cross-attribute trade-offs and
deliver optimal vehicle performance.
Guide teams in target setting,
validation strategy development, and risk mitigation planning for all
attribute-related areas.
Oversee the definition and
tracking of validation testing, ensuring results align with attribute
requirements and customer expectations.
Provide technical direction and
leadership in problem resolution and attribute integration throughout the
development cycle.
Communicate program-level
attribute performance status, risks, and mitigation actions to senior
management.
Ensure collaboration and alignment between
global engineering teams in Vietnam, Europe, and North America.
Requirements
Location:
Hanoi, Vietnam
Degree/Qualification:
Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering,
Automotive Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 7 years of experience working with one or more major
OEMs, with exposure to vehicle programs sold in Europe, North America, and
Asia.
Fluent in English
Experience:
Strong background in vehicle attribute development, validation,
and integration across multiple disciplines such as NVH, Vehicle Dynamics,
Durability, Thermal, Safety, Driveability, Efficiency, and Perceived
Quality.
Proven experience managing attribute delivery across global
vehicle programs, ensuring targets are met through all development phases.
Deep understanding of the complete vehicle development
lifecycle, including target setting, system trade-offs, validation
planning, and sign-off processes.
Demonstrated capability to lead and guide multi-disciplinary
engineering teams to achieve balanced vehicle attribute performance.
Experience defining, planning, and tracking validation test
programs related to attribute performance.
Working knowledge of all major vehicle attributes other than
EE, with the ability to integrate cross-attribute solutions effectively.
Proven track record of interfacing with executive program
leadership (Chief Engineer and Program Management teams) as the face of
vehicle attributes.
Familiarity with industry standards, global homologation
requirements, and market-specific expectations for vehicle performance and
quality.
Skilled in structured problem-solving
methodologies (DFMEA, DVP, 8D, 5Y, DFSS, FTA, Fish Bone).
