We are looking for a Quality & HSEQ professional with strong experience in automotive or logistics environments to lead Quality, EHS, and APQP activities during new business launches, ensuring compliance with customer and ISO standards. This role will involve travel across Europe with frequent travel to sites.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Executing Quality and EHS processes during the launch phase of new business, including managing operational training requirements and ensuring all standards are met in line with RACIS launch expectations.
- Participating in the bid process for new business to interpret customer Quality and EHS requirements and ensuring these elements are fully integrated into the proposed customer solution
- Ensuring that all relevant ISO management systems are implemented effectively and prepared for certification within 12 months from the start of production.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Review and determine the Quality and EHS requirements during the bid phase of new business, liaising with the regional HSEQ specialists and the account management teams
- Gather data from customer and internal sources as input for problem solving and communicate/report to appropriate personnel
- Responsible for the safety aspects of new projects including but not limited to risk assessments, safety planning and coordination of safety training
- Prepares all APQP & PFEP documentation for part files on new and existing products/processes. Collaborates with site Quality and Engineering departments on new part programs to verify customer requirements are met
- Execute Launch Quality operations activities, shop floor production support, 5S, team boards and product containment
- Administer the integrated management system requirements for all assigned processes/launches (i.e. operator instructions (WIs), PFMEA’s and process control plans
- Process Analysis – provide input on processes from a quality perspective, aid in implementation of new processes
- Develop and design irreversible corrective actions for known problems. Use established problem solving techniques to reduce process variation
- Actively coach the organisation on quality, environmental and safety tools and reports
- Drive implementation of best practices and standardized quality metrics during the launch period
- Process Control – provide input on document enhancement and retention; Maintain ISO documentation and controls, administer activities required to maintain ISO certification, and actively coach the organization for maintaining ISO system
- Supports the HSEQ shared services team in the maintenance of IMS Systems by executing internal corporate audits
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain or Business focus
- Knowledge of relevant international standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 etc.)
- Knowledge of structured quality launch processes, preferably in the logistics/supply chain industry or equivalent based APQP process and tools (flow charts, FMEA, Control Plans, etc.)
- Demonstrated knowledge of quality standards, inspections and written quality requirements
- Flexibility to travel between 50-80% of the time across the region to our operations to launch new business
- Strong communication skills
Languages – Fluency in Polish and English is required; additional languages such as German, Italian, French, or Spanish are considered a strong advantage
Preferred:
- Professional Safety Qualification- e.g.: IOSH or NEBOSH
- Professional Quality Auditing qualification e.g.: IRCA
Definite asset:
- Experience in the logistics or automotive industry
