Harte Hanks is a leading global customer experience company focused on providing CX strategy and data-driven analytics. They are seeking an Outbound Sales Development Representative to engage with new business contacts, educate them about products, and support experienced Account Executives in filling their pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Talk to a wide variety of new business contacts to provide specifications on ADP Chat is the main role, but must be able to cold call and prospect for leads to companies that could benefit from new solutions
- Maintain email and phone conversation with warm prospects to determine the driving factor in the purchase decision
- Partner with experienced Account Executives to help fill their pipeline
- Become a product expert and learn strategies to communicate product value
- Continually increase product knowledge by working closely with Training Specialist and Product Development teams
- Clearly communicate business decision drivers, costs, and benefits to showcase the product as a strategic advantage
Requirements:
- Superior customer service and cold calling experience
- Must be detailed oriented, be observant and adaptable to change
- Accurate grammatical and data entry skills
- Ability to manage stress well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong over-the-phone communication and online presentation skills
- Advocate for customers and prospects by building rapport to identify their key needs and determine possible solution-sets
- Desire to think creatively and use problem-solving skills to assure customer satisfaction
- Ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate to advanced experience navigating multiple windows to provide accurate information to end user
- Flexible attitude and demonstrated ability to hit targets and exceed expectations
- Must reside in one of the following states: AR, FL, GA, IL, KS, NH, NJ, OH, TN, TX, PA, VA
- Must pass all assessments and systems check
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate through verbal and written English
- Proven proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, CRMs, and other online resources for information
- One to three years of B2B experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or customer centric role
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in using social media/ social selling for prospecting and lead generation
- Experience working with Salesforce CRM and SalesLoft
