Aon is a global organization focused on shaping better decisions and enriching lives. They are seeking a Client Service Manager for their Pooled Employer Plan (Aon PEP) to manage a portfolio of participating employers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance in the 401(k) space.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver the Aon PEP 401(k) Plan to a portfolio of participating employers
- Be the main client contact for service delivery
- Work closely with Aon PEP leaders and service partners
- Have a strong command of client objectives
- Stay current on 401(k) regulatory and legislative landscape
- Recognize how to support clients through complex 401(k) regulatory and administrative issues
- Monitor, review, and identify 401(k) administrative concerns
- Work in a fast-paced environment, tracking multiple deliverables and inquiries across multiple clients and participants
- Manage special projects, such as plan design changes, plan amendments, custom communications, educational webinars, payroll corrections, and merger & acquisition support
- Expand knowledge of 401(k) plan design, administration, compliance, and procedures
- Work directly with clients and third-party vendors, serving as a project manager and resource
- Serve as an account executive and establish a trusted relationship with clients as their 401(k) consultant
Requirements:
- Have a strong command of client objectives
- Stay current on 401(k) regulatory and legislative landscape
- Have at least 5 years of experience in retirement consulting, plan management, and client service
- Have skills and judgment to recognize how to appropriately support clients through complex 401(k) regulatory and administrative issues
- Have the analytical and organizational skills to understand how to monitor, review, and identify 401(k) administrative concerns
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, tracking multiple deliverables and inquiries across multiple clients and participants at one time
- Manage special projects, such as plan design changes, plan amendments, custom communications, educational webinars, payroll corrections, and merger & acquisition support
- Ability to own and take responsibility for multiple clients at one time; manage multiple issues, questions, and concerns on a daily basis
- Outstanding time management skills; Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
- Good written, oral, and interpersonal skills; Comfortable and effective speaking with clients and vendors; Ability to navigate difficult circumstances; Works well within a team environment
- Ability to delegate to analysts and oversee the fulfillment of their work
- Resourceful, strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Expert understanding of 401(k) plan design, administration, and compliance
- Advanced knowledge of Excel specific to working with census data
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience
