ExpandIQ is a category leader in enterprise B2B marketing technology, and they are seeking an Event Marketing Manager to own the execution, optimization, and scaling of their event programs. This role involves managing operational planning for in-person and virtual events, ensuring flawless execution, and measuring event performance to drive pipeline and revenue outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end operational planning and execution for in-person and virtual events
- Manage pre-event, onsite, and post-event workflows to ensure consistency and repeatability
- Coordinate logistics including booths, shipments, branded assets, AV, staffing, and vendors
- Ensure brand consistency across all event formats
- Configure, QA, and manage event campaigns in Salesforce and marketing automation tools
- Own lead capture workflows, data hygiene, and attendee data flows
- Integrate event technology (registration tools, scanners, badge systems) into the broader martech stack
- Maintain clean reporting dashboards for event performance
- Track event ROI, pipeline creation, ARR impact, and lead quality
- Build dashboards that clearly show attribution and channel performance
- Continuously optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce cost
- Partner closely with Field Marketing, Demand Gen, Sales, SDRs, and Marketing Ops
- Align events with ICPs, target accounts, and sales territories
- Support sales enablement with event playbooks, staffing guides, talk tracks, and follow-up plans
- Manage relationships with event organizers, agencies, and production vendors
- Own event budgets, forecasting, and contract negotiation
- Track spend and ensure strong ROI
Requirements:
- 3–7+ years of experience in event operations, field marketing, or event management in B2B SaaS
- Experience supporting enterprise-level marketing events (large conferences, field events, partner events)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to run multiple events simultaneously
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and marketing automation tools (Marketo, HubSpot, etc.)
- Deep understanding of event lead capture, routing, and attribution workflows
- Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience supporting ABM or account-based field events
- Background in demand generation or marketing operations
- Experience with event platforms like Splash, Cvent, or RainFocus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insights
