The Component Sales Account Manager will be responsible for growing strategic customer relationships and driving design wins, while collaborating with internal teams to identify opportunities and execute account strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute account strategies to grow revenue, expand market share, and strengthen AMD’s position within key component customers and partners
- Identify new business opportunities and drive design-win engagements across target accounts
- Build strong relationships with customer decision makers across engineering, procurement, and business teams
- Lead design-win activities by aligning customer requirements with AMD product roadmaps and solutions
- Collaborate closely with product management and engineering teams to support technical evaluations and customer engagements
- Translate customer needs into actionable insights that inform product positioning and strategy
- Develop quarterly and annual business plans including sell-in and sell-out targets
- Conduct regular business reviews with partners to track performance, identify gaps, and drive action plans
- Manage deal strategy, pricing discussions, and negotiations to support revenue growth
- Maintain accurate forecasting and revenue tracking across assigned accounts
- Partner with supply chain, procurement, and business planning teams to support demand planning and execution
- Manage funding programs and ensure alignment with business priorities
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitive dynamics to inform strategy
- Develop positioning strategies that highlight AMD’s value proposition across market segments
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of semiconductor or component sales environments and customer engagement models

- Strong understanding of semiconductor sales cycles, pricing, and forecasting
- Experience working in global or matrixed organizations
- Ability to balance technical depth with commercial execution
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred
