CharterUP is transforming the group transportation and mobility market with an AI native platform. The Enterprise Business Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting, engaging, and qualifying leads in targeted verticals, while coordinating appointments for Account Executives to pursue opportunities in shuttle, charter, and transportation software services.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients within targeted verticals including construction, universities/colleges, and corporations for transportation services
- Initiate outbound calls and emails to key decision-makers, introducing CharterUP’s enterprise services and assessing their transportation needs
- Engage in meaningful conversations to understand prospect requirements, challenges, and timelines to determine if there is a fit for CharterUP’s services
- Schedule qualified appointments and meetings for Account Executives to further discuss upcoming RFPs, uncovering opportunities within existing transportation, and new opportunities to provide tailored solutions
- Effectively manage and update prospect information, activities, and communications in the CRM system (Salesforce) to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
- Work closely with the sales team to share insights, feedback, and best practices to optimize outreach strategies and improve overall sales performance
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to identify new business prospects and enhance sales strategies
- Meet and exceed weekly/monthly quotas for outbound calls, qualified leads, and scheduled appointments to contribute to the company’s revenue goals
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of outbound sales experience, preferably in a B2B enterprise environment
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment by executing high-volume, strategic prospecting efforts
- Ability to identify the right decision-makers and engage them through thoughtful, personalized outreach (calls, email, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively to meet sales targets
- Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce
- Proficiency with prospecting tools like Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo, SalesLoft, Apollo or similar
