Bottomline Technologies is a global leader in business payments and cash management, seeking a strategic sales leader to manage a team of Vendor Sales Representatives. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, coaching the sales team, and enhancing vendor experiences within the Paymode Network.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Vendor Sales Representatives to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the Paymode solution and articulate value to the vendor community with clarity, confidence, and credibility
- Drive recurring revenue through hands‑on involvement in the value‑based sales motion and support reps with critical deal execution
- Manage and coach to a healthy, predictable pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and consistent follow‑through
- Coach reps individually and as a team, providing structured feedback, career development, and ongoing performance optimization
- Ensure adoption of sales tools, methodologies, and processes, raising the bar for efficiency and execution
- Partner cross‑functionally to “surprise and delight” vendors by elevating their receivables experience
- Contribute individually to team quota through strategic deal participation and closing support
- Communicate effectively through phone, email, and screen‑share using modern sales technologies and engagement tools
Requirements:
- 7+ years of sales experience, including 4+ years in sales leadership with a track record of leading high‑performing teams
- Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, improving team performance, and scaling repeatable sales processes
- Strong coaching philosophy - you know how to inspire, challenge, and up‑level a team
- Ability to manage pipeline with discipline, forecast accurately, and influence executive‑level decision‑making
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
- Experience in SaaS, FinTech, or Payments strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
