Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and pursue new prospects within assigned territories through field scouting, research, cold outreach, and in-person facility visits
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of customer operations to identify potential needs related to equipment, safety, efficiency, and maintenance
- Establish initial relationships with prospective customers and position Robert Dietrick Co., Inc. as a trusted resource for operational solutions
- Schedule and coordinate initial meetings between prospective clients and Territory Sales Representatives, ensuring a smooth transition from prospecting to sales engagement
- Prepare Territory Sales Representatives for meetings by providing relevant background information, discovery notes, and strategic insights
- Maintain consistent activity levels across assigned territories to ensure balanced market coverage and brand presence
- Track all prospect activities, meetings, and outcomes accurately within the company’s CRM system to facilitate effective follow-up and pipeline management
- Collaborate closely with Territory Sales Representatives to align on target accounts, territory priorities, and follow-up strategies
- Stay informed about competitive activities, market trends, and customer feedback within assigned regions to refine outreach strategies
- Participate in joint customer visits, ride-alongs, and follow-up meetings as necessary to support opportunity development and relationship building
- Regularly prepare and report on activity metrics, territory insights, and pipeline health to management, supporting strategic decision-making
- Contribute to broader sales and marketing initiatives by providing field-based feedback and insights to enhance campaign effectiveness
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall growth and success of the sales team
