The BESS Service Business Development Manager will lead technical and commercial strategy for Long-Term Service Agreements and O&M services, focusing on customer engagement and service revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate LTSA, O&M scope, warranty coverage, performance guarantees, and full lifecycle service packages
- Identify risks tied to technical requirements, warranty boundaries, and performance guarantees; collaborate closely with R&D, quality, engineering, and product teams to ensure alignment
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with asset owners, developers, EPCs, and service partners to expand service revenue opportunities and strengthen customer retention
- Monitor BESS technology trends, regulatory developments, and customer needs to shape competitive and differentiated service offerings
- Review and refine service standards, procedures, and operational practices to improve service quality, operational efficiency, and long-term customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Strong technical understanding of BESS products
- In-depth knowledge of LTSA/O&M structures
- Excellent contract negotiation abilities
- Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in the BESS industry (OEM, developer, EPC, or service provider)
- Drive service revenue growth while ensuring technical alignment and long-term customer satisfaction
- Minimum 2 years of direct working experience in the BESS industry (service, engineering, business development, or project execution)
- Strong understanding of LTSA/O&M scope, warranty structure, and BESS system architecture
- Proven ability to lead commercial negotiations and collaborate with technical teams
- Excellent communication, customer-facing, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment
