Minute Media is a global technology and content company focused on the future of sports consumption. As a Director, Publisher Business Development, you will be responsible for prospecting and growing relationships with strategic publishers while driving revenue and refining development strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue from publisher partners to meet and exceed sales goals
- Assist in building and refining Minute Media’s publisher development strategies
- Build relationships across publisher organizations (executives, sales teams, ad ops, research)
- Track and manage publisher acquisition pipeline and account activities
- Work closely with internal teams on sales strategy, techniques and execution
- Interface with the Minute Media Account Management team to transition new Publishers to the post-sales team
- Manage all facets of the sales process from pre-sale to close, including ongoing sales consultation
- Present Minute Media’s offering in front of key decision makers
- Represent Minute Media at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience working at an ad serving technology company, an ad network and/or large media company
- Strong knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem
- Proven negotiation skills and strategic mindset
- Existing relationships with large premium publishers (highly desirable)
- Experienced in pipeline management using tools such as Salesforce, SimilarWeb, Red Volcano, Looker, Monday.com
- AI curious with an understanding of automations and a desire to incorporate AI into daily workflows
