The Market Research Strategist will be responsible for designing research methodologies, managing recruitment, and collaborating with clients to deliver findings, all while adapting to a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Consult with clients to determine the best methodology for their research objectives
- Edit client questionnaires based on best practices and research objectives
- Program questionnaires and screeners into the Instapanel platform
- Quality-assure your own programming by reviewing preview links before launch
- Identify the best recruitment platforms for each project and set them up end-to-end
- Invite panelists based on needed quotas, ensuring strong demographic representation
- Conduct vendor outreach to research and onboard new recruitment partners
- Set up and monitor Facebook ad campaigns for recruitment purposes, optimizing performance as needed
- Review panelist responses to ensure quality standards and project needs are met
- Create deliverables including quotes reports and contribute to in-depth/topline reports
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact with clients, working alongside the client strategy team
- Lead or support client calls before, during, and after projects
- Assist with light proposal writing and review
- Strategize with the team on new processes and product offerings as we grow and evolve
Requirements:
- A university or college degree — humanities, communications, and marketing majors are very welcome
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A creative problem-solver who can navigate ambiguity and figure things out
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, startup environment
- A genuine drive to understand diverse people, cultures, and perspectives
- Adaptability — this role will evolve, and so will you
- Quantitative and/or qualitative research background (professional or academic)
- Familiarity with statistical analysis methods or quantitative data analysis software
- Strong presentation skills
- Previous experience in an advertising agency, brand, or marketing role
- Familiarity with social media advertising platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn)
- Experience working remotely
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (G Suite)
- Fluency or competency in languages other than English
