ClickUp is a company focused on architecting the future of work through innovative software solutions. They are seeking a Senior Manager of Product Analytics to lead the analytics function, empowering Product Managers with insights to drive product decisions and improve user engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Work side-by-side with product leaders to define the North Star metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the entire product organization
- Translate complex data and user behavior into clear, compelling narratives and actionable recommendations
- Lead the charge in identifying and evangelizing the core product metrics (e.g., feature adoption, user activation, engagement loops, and retention drivers) that align with our company's strategic goals
- Build and scale the product analytics function (people, processes, and tools) to provide PMs with self-serve dashboards, A/B testing frameworks, and deep-dive insights
- Recruit, manage, and develop a world-class team of product analysts, fostering a culture of high performance, intellectual curiosity, and business impact
- Promote a growth mindset by embedding a culture of hypothesis-driven development, A/B testing, and data-informed decision-making across the product organization
- Be the product analytics owner for our most strategic features, including ClickUp AI and ClickUp Brain
Requirements:
- 6+ years in product analytics or data science
- At least 3+ years of experience leading and scaling high-performing analytics teams
- Experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment
- Proven mastery of data storytelling
- Ability to confidently and persuasively present complex findings and strategic recommendations to C-suite, product leadership, and Board
- Deep experience in defining metrics and building a metric framework from the ground up
- Strong passion for product management
- Proven track record of building analytics functions that enable PMs
- Deep understanding of how to leverage AI/ML for predictive modeling and automated insights
- Experience defining metrics and measuring the impact of customer-facing AI features
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and have a 'get it done' attitude
- Intensely curious and always looking for a better way to do things
- Expert-level SQL skills
- Deep experience with modern BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
- Experience with product analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel)
- Direct experience in the productivity, collaboration, or project management software space
- Experience building data models or working closely with data engineering on data warehousing
