Job Summary:
Provides leadership and oversight to all aspects of the Office of the Registrar. Provides leadership to plan, organize, and manage all student records and registration activities in compliance with all credentialing and regulatory agencies. Plays a critical role in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA regulations and policies of Frontier Nursing University to ensure equitable and consistent administration of policies and procedures related to academic record keeping. Serves as the official authorized keeper of the university’s student records. Protects the confidentiality of all information contained in student records. The registrar supervises staff in the Office of the Registrar, serves on standing committees, and assures compliance with certifying and governmental requirements. This position reports directly to the Dean of Student Success.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the institution’s course registration process, including but not limited to coordinating prerequisites, open/closed courses, course sections, and institutional records of assigned faculty.
- Responsible for collecting, recording, maintaining, analyzing, and reporting student records within FERPA guidelines, e.g., grades, registration data, transcripts, transfer credits, internal and external audits, and accrediting bodies.
- Responsible for monitoring, editing, and publishing the student catalog
- Responsible for monitoring, editing, and publishing the program of study
- Responsible for academic calendar creation, approval, and publication.
- Work closely with administrators and faculty to take appropriate action on a student’s record regarding suspension, honor code violations, and plagiarism citations in compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
- Problem solves the research, analysis, and resolution of student disputes related to records and registration in compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with administrators, deans, faculty, and staff to facilitate and improve student services, including catalog and registration/records policy questions.
- Provide leadership and develop appropriate recommendations for implementing related technology applications to support enhanced services.
- Participate in professional development activities and serve on university committees supporting student records and registration goals and objectives.
- Evaluate and certify student and alumnus eligibility for state and national licensure examinations.

- Maintain a history of graduation requirements
- Participate in commencement activities
- Provide training and support to staff in the Office of the Registrar.
- Work closely with the Dean of Student Success to align departmental goals with institutional strategic priorities.
- Provide service to the University through involvement in FNU shared governance, FNU-sponsored activities, and service to the profession.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Masterspreferred
- Two (2)years' experience in higher education administration.
