Account Executive, Connected TV & In-Game Advertising

Media Pulse is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the media and connected TV industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets. This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives.
This is a new role reporting to the Sales Director, Streaming and CTV and is a hybrid position requiring in-office attendance at our head office in Toronto for a minimum of three (3) days per week.
The anticipated total compensation range for this role is $125,000 - $190,000 per year (inclusive of commissions), with final compensation determined by experience and qualifications.
Core Responsibilities & Duties
Client Relationship Management
● Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
● Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction with our products and services
● Secure at least 5-7 x meetings / week with key clients and accounts and develop unique solutions (using Media Pulse + Blue Ant products) to client business challenges and campaigns
Sales Strategy and Execution
● Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the media and connected TV sectors
● Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
● Present and demonstrate the value of our products and services to potential clients
RFP Responses & Client Presentations
● Strategize and tap into creative solutions for RFP’s and proactive proposals
● Build and customize client presentations to address specific accounts and business needs, taking a personalized approach to meetings
● Develop detailed media plans
Collaboration and Teamwork
● Collaborate with other sales team members to share best practices and insights
● Work with other sales team members on joint presentations, meetings and pitches
● Think creatively about client challenges and how to solve them as a team
Negotiation and Closing
● Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients
● Close deals and ensure a smooth transition to the account management team for ongoing client support
Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
● 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on digital media and specifically, connected TV
● Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
● Strong understanding of digital media, connected TV, and advertising technologies
● Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
● Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
● Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
