JD Power is a leading data and insights company, and they are seeking a VP of Sales for Enterprise Accounts to drive new business and expand strategic accounts. This role focuses on building executive relationships and managing complex sales cycles to accelerate enterprise revenue and strengthen market position.
Responsibilities:
- Set strategic goals, develop sales plans, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about the automotive dealer solutions market. Be the go-to expert on our products and competitors
- Work closely with other divisions, including Marketing, Product, and Customer Success, to create a cohesive and successful go-to-market strategy
- Take ultimate responsibility for exceeding sales quota. Analyze sales metrics, forecast performance, and implement corrective measures as needed
- Lead high-value, multi-stakeholder sales pursuits with large enterprise accounts
- Develop winning strategies for complex sales cycles, including data licensing, API integrations, multi-product adoption, and enterprise agreements
- Drive long-term revenue growth and contract expansion across enterprise accounts
- Serve as the primary sales contact for the organization’s most significant and strategically important customers
- Conduct executive-level presentations and valuation methodology discussions
- Partner with executives, and enterprise stakeholders to identify opportunities for expanded partnerships and data utilization
- Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of Automotive Industry, Operations within large automotive retailers, Variable and Fixed operations, C-Level Negotiations, and provide authoritative guidance on use cases, workflow impact, and competitive differentiation
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive B2B sales experience
- Demonstrated success managing complex, enterprise-level sales cycles
- Strong executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities
- Experience selling data, analytics, valuation tools, SaaS, or technology platforms
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple functional areas to deliver strategic solutions
- Ability to travel for key customer visits, enterprise meetings, and industry conferences
- Familiarity with dealer operations, underwriting workflows, or inventory management strategies
- Deep relationships in automotive ecosystems
- Experience with SaaS sales, integrations, and large-scale data licensing agreements
