DCE Solar is a privately-owned solar engineering services firm that specializes in developing industry-leading solar racking solutions. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to enhance existing relationships and build new ones with EPC and Development partners in the Industrial and Commercial solar market.
Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will possess a strong brand and deep relationships with EPC’s & Development partners within the Solar industry
- Successful in Achieving financial targets
- Focused on setting and executing the defined business development strategy
- Capable and comfortable with cold calling and developing new customer relationships
- Once Identified, nurture and build new business, as well as expanding sales with current customers
- Provide an enhanced customer experience by exceeding client expectations
- Be able to provide a win – win solution to both the company as well as the clients
- Understand of the company’s products and service offering
- Effectively communicate the company’s value offering
- Manage and respond to Customer RFQ’s
- Participate in weekly sales project pipeline meetings via video calls
- Maintain accurate CRM system information by logging all calls, schedules, meeting notes and travel scheduling
- Enter all project opportunity information into CRM system and create accurate proposals
- Effectively travel to establish relationships and new prospects
- Work remotely and independently
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, on-site customer sales call as directed
Requirements:
- 3+ years B2B Sales or Business Development experience
- Solar experience within the Commercial and industrial segment is required
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Entrepreneurial minded and cognitive thinker
- Experience working and maintaining CRM software
