Gini Talent is a global leader in open-source software, known for Ubuntu, the popular Linux platform. They are seeking a Senior Enterprise Sales Executive to drive new business opportunities and manage client relationships within their assigned territory, focusing on achieving ambitious sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the company and promote its software solutions in your region
- Build and execute a strategic territory plan to guide outreach and prospecting activities
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline through proactive outreach, networking, marketing efforts, and industry events
- Drive the entire sales cycle — from initial contact to closing deals — to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals
- Collaborate with field engineers to design solutions that address customer needs
- Partner with the Customer Success team to identify expansion and upsell opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of opportunities, forecasts, and customer data in Salesforce
- Build and sustain relationships with key decision-makers and industry influencers
- Attend client meetings, events, and conferences as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in Engineering or Computer Science
- Proven experience in enterprise software, SaaS, or cloud technology sales
- Strong understanding of open-source technologies
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with consistent follow-up discipline
- Ability to work independently in a distributed, remote team environment
- Fluent in English; additional languages relevant to the target market are a plus
- Willingness to travel 3–5 weeks per year, including international travel
- Stable career history (no more than five companies in the last ten years)
- Quick thinking, mental agility, and strong industry or regional networks
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience
- Degree in a STEM field
- Experience selling open-source software
- Previous experience with competitors, software resellers, or distribution partners
- Background in leadership or team management roles
- Employment history within the top three companies of the relevant sector
- Recognized as a top-performing seller or award recipient
- Experience in territory management and working closely with Marketing and Channel teams
- Residing in major business hubs outside the USA
- Proven experience in account and pipeline management
