MFT Workload Automation Support Engineer

Ventures Unlimited Inc is seeking an MFT Workload Automation Support Engineer to provide application support for Managed File Transfer and Middleware solutions. The role involves production support, workload automation, and troubleshooting secure file transfer protocols while also managing job scheduling and monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Create and manage N2M (Node-to-Mainframe) jobs
• Develop, modify, and monitor batch jobs
• Configure calendars, dependencies, job groups, and event-based triggers
• Perform root cause analysis for job failures
• Handle production deployments and scheduling enhancements
• Create file transfer jobs and automated workflows
• Configure triggers (time-based, file-based, event-based)
• Manage secure protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2)
• Monitor logs and resolve transfer failures
• Perform server configuration and maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot file transfer failures and connectivity issues
• Work on encryption (PGP), certificates, and key management
• Support user onboarding and partner integrations
• Provide L2 support (incident, problem, change management)
• Perform impact analysis and implement enhancements
• Work closely with application teams and business stakeholders
• Prepare technical documentation and SOPs
• Participate in on-call support rotation (if required)

• Production Support & Workload Automation
• Secure File Transfer protocols: SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2
• Job monitoring, scheduling and troubleshooting
• External partner connectivity setup & maintenance
• Certificate management (SSL/TLS, SSH keys)
• File encryption & PGP handling
• Incident, Problem & Change Management (ITIL)
