Accenture is a leading global professional services company that offers flexible project-based work. They are seeking a Senior Healthcare Integration Engineer responsible for designing, building, and supporting secure interoperability solutions between Innovaccer and EHR systems, ensuring reliable API connectivity and compliant exchange of healthcare data.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain integrations using: FHIR (R4 preferred), HL7 v2.x (ADT, ORU, SIU, etc.), RESTful APIs (JSON/XML)
• Configure and manage OAuth2 / SMART on FHIR authentication
• Develop and maintain patient, encounter, medication, diagnosis, lab, and claims data mappings
• Troubleshoot API failures, data discrepancies, and interface issues
• Support bidirectional integrations (including write-back where applicable)
• Monitor integration performance and ensure data freshness SLAs
• Collaborate with EHR vendor technical teams and internal data/analytics teams
• Maintain technical documentation and integration runbooks
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of PHI

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of work experience
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare and EHR experience, with a focus on Epic experience
• eClinicalWorks (eCW) along with API integration experience
• High School Diploma / GED
