Epic Bugsy Analyst

TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, and they are seeking an Epic Bugsy Analyst to support the implementation of Epic Bugsy. The role involves conducting discovery, system build, configuration, and testing activities aligned with project requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct discovery, system build, configuration, and testing activities related to the Epic Bugsy implementation
• Participate in design, workflow, and operational alignment sessions
• Provide detailed project status updates, including progress, blockers, risks, and mitigation needs
• Communicate risks to Application Services and Project Leadership
• Maintain system build and testing progress according to approved timelines
• Ensure successful Data Couriering and adherence to change control
• Attend and actively participate in system and workflow design sessions related to Epic Bugsy
• Provide go-live readiness and post-implementation assessment reports
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure long‑term sustainability and support

Requirements:

• Must be Epic Bugsy certified
• Must have prior implementation experience within Epic Bugsy
• Conduct discovery, system build, configuration, and testing activities related to the Epic Bugsy implementation
• Participate in design, workflow, and operational alignment sessions
• Provide detailed project status updates, including progress, blockers, risks, and mitigation needs
• Communicate risks to Application Services and Project Leadership
• Maintain system build and testing progress according to approved timelines
• Ensure successful Data Couriering and adherence to change control
• Attend and actively participate in system and workflow design sessions related to Epic Bugsy
• Provide go-live readiness and post-implementation assessment reports
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure long‑term sustainability and support
• Epic Bugsy Certification & Infection Prevention Workflow Expertise
• Deep knowledge of infection prevention, healthcare workflows, and clinical informatics
• Epic Build & Configuration Skills (SDLC, Testing, Data Couriering, Release Management)
• Build and maintain system configuration
• Develop testing scripts, perform unit/system/integrated testing
• Follow Epic SDLC guidelines
• Data Couriering between environments
• Change management and documentation standards
• Upgrade readiness and regression testing
• Data analysis for infection cases and trends
• Understanding clinical documentation and nursing workflows
• Workflow assessments and optimization
• Collaboration with Infection Prevention, HIM, Nursing, and Lab teams
• Skills: EPIC, Bugsy
• Epic module certification (Bugsy, ClinDoc, Orders, etc.)—multiple postings note preference for additional Epic certifications
• Epic Data Courier or DC Admin Certification (preferred in some roles)
