XFX is building the settlement and liquidity infrastructure for the programmable financial system. They are seeking a Technical Product Manager to connect Engineering and Operations teams, overseeing the build lifecycle from discovery to deployment while ensuring high-quality execution in financial infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Own the build, end to end. Lead product discovery, requirements definition, development, testing, and deployment across core systems and third-party integrations — ensuring a high quality bar and world-class execution
- Drive product clarity. Write PRDs or prototype new flows that clearly translate business goals into well-scoped technical requirements and execution plans. Be the primary product voice in engineering standups, sprint planning, and architectural discussions — unblocking teams and driving decisions daily
- Go deep on system design. Partner with engineers on architectural decisions, data flows, API design, and integration patterns as an active thought partner
- Own QA strategy across APIs and web UI, with a sharp focus on correctness, edge cases, and failure modes
- Bridge engineering and operations. Serve as the primary liaison between Engineering and Operations, ensuring new capabilities land with the workflows, controls, and auditability needed to run them — while partnering with Compliance to build automation that scales
- Contribute to shape our AI-enabled systems. Work with data and engineering teams to design and evolve our predictive and decision engine
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally building trading, fintech, crypto, infrastructure, or AI-enabled systems
- Fluency in payments, FX, or capital markets infrastructure — you understand concepts like settlement, netting, and liquidity management, or can get there fast
- Comfort in system design conversations — APIs, data flows, backend integrations, reconciliation logic, and architectural tradeoffs aren't abstractions to you
- Experience shipping in high-growth startups and know how to move fast
- Strong verbal and written communication skills — you're great at translating action into writing, and know the importance of this in a remote-first environment
- Data-oriented, pragmatic, and willing to make good decisions with incomplete information
- Track record of setting direction and creating clarity, and you value follow-through and execution
- Curious about emerging AI infrastructure and new tooling. You bring that curiosity to your day-to-day work
