They are seeking a proactive Sr. Business Development Manager to join their Rack Integration team, focusing on identifying and developing new opportunities while collaborating with corporate clients and internal teams to enhance client relationships and drive market penetration.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee high-impact business development strategies aligned with corporate, regional, and industry-specific growth goals
- Client Acquisition and Outreach: Proactively approach and engage with new prospective customers through strategic outreach and relationship-building. Actively identify and evaluate new high-value business opportunities to drive Supermicro’s strategic goals
- Collaboration with Sales Teams: Partner with sales teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination in driving opportunities from qualification to close
- Sales Enablement and Training: Develop and deliver regular impactful sales training programs, both monthly and on-demand, including the creation of sales training kits
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: As Business Development Manager for Rack Team you will help lead cross-functional teams towards success, including project management, engineering, marketing, and product management, to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Delivering Training and Enablement: Conduct general purpose time-to-market (TTM) training for new rack products tailored to customer needs, ensuring clients are equipped with the knowledge to optimize Supermicro Rack Scale Solutions
- Client Growth and Retention: Expand and retain existing client accounts by identifying opportunities for growth and delivering solutions that meet their evolving needs
- Market Targeting and Qualification: Qualify potential opportunities by creating and refining target lists for vertical markets, focusing on enterprise and data center clients
- Strategic Positioning: Effectively position Supermicro’s rack solutions and services as leading solutions for data center and HPC challenges, aligning with customer goals
- Product-Customer Alignment: Promote and recommend the most suitable products to clients, ensuring alignment with their specific use cases and objectives
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and sharing insights on product and market developments
