TEKsystems is a leading provider of business and technology services, and they are seeking Remote Customer Service Representatives for a 6-month contract with potential for permanent employment. The role involves providing call center support for a financial services company, handling disability, life, and leave claims, while ensuring a superior level of customer service throughout all interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide timely, accurate, and customer-focused claim information to callers
- Solicit information needed to process new claim submissions and ongoing claims
- Document claim information in the system with high accuracy and detail while on the phone with customers
- Issue timely and accurate claim acknowledgement correspondence
- Process incoming documents with high coding integrity and distribute immediately
- Meet or exceed call center operational metrics and remain fully compliant with operational standards
- Deliver a superior level of genuine, empathetic customer service throughout all interactions
- Anticipate customer needs and take appropriate action
Requirements:
- 2-3+ years of customer service experience (call center or face-to-face) – financial services experience strongly preferred
- OR Bachelor's degree in lieu of customer service experience
- Superior verbal and proficient writing skills
- Basic to moderate skills with Microsoft Office and other software applications
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to perform in a call center environment and meet strict attendance expectations
- Comfortable working on a computer and phone all day
- Bilingual
- Medical terminology knowledge
- Experience with insurance, claims, or billing
