About the role
We are seeking a hands-on Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) to drive the company’s growth by leading sales and marketing. The CBDO will work closely with the CEO and COO to ensure that the company attracts the right clients, wins the right projects, and builds a predictable revenue pipeline. The CBDO will lead the Sales and Marketing teams and play a critical role in shaping Syndicode’s market position.
What you’ll be doing
Owning and driving company revenue growth, including pipeline generation, deal closing, and revenue forecasting
Building and maintaining a predictable sales pipeline through outbound, inbound, and partnership channels
Personally participating in strategic discovery calls, client meetings, and negotiations
Leading and improving the end-to-end sales process from first contact to contract signature
Managing and coaching the Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring alignment between lead generation and revenue goals
Developing and executing outbound sales strategies, including target account selection, messaging, and outreach campaigns
Working closely with the marketing team to improve positioning, messaging, case studies, and demand generation initiatives
Identifying and developing strategic partnerships and referral channels that can expand the company’s reach and pipeline
Ensuring proper use of CRM and sales tools, maintaining accurate pipeline tracking and reporting
Monitoring key sales metrics such as pipeline coverage, conversion rates, deal size, and forecast accuracy
Collaborating closely with the COO and delivery teams to ensure realistic project scoping, high-quality presales, and successful client engagements
Continuously improving the company’s sales playbooks, proposal materials, and go-to-market approach
What you’ll need
8+ years of experience in IT services/software outsourcing sales
Proven experience closing B2B software development deals
Strong experience with outbound sales
Hands-on experience with LinkedIn, Apollo, and CRM tools
Experience working with marketing and demand generation
Ability to operate both strategically and operationally
Advanced English
Strong advantages
Experience selling staff augmentation, custom software development
Experience selling to the US or EU markets
Existing network in technology companies
