Mass General Brigham is a not-for-profit organization focused on patient care, research, teaching, and community service. They are seeking a Marketing Manager – Product Content to oversee editorial production for digital content, specifically targeting patients and providers to enhance brand awareness and support organizational goals. The role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure timely delivery of content and effective communication of marketing priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Supports all aspects of editorial production for digital content supporting Mass General Brigham’s marketing and communications, with a specific focus on website content
- Develops, edits, optimizes, and distributes service line content targeting patients, consumers, and referring providers to drive acquisition, growth, and brand awareness
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project interdependencies and timely delivery of digital content for prioritized initiatives and service lines
- Helps direct editorial processes, executes the editorial calendar, and coordinates the distribution of service line content across Mass General Brigham’s digital channels
- Ensures digital properties effectively communicate marketing priorities, support organizational goals, and accurately represent the brand
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study required
- Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of related experience required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including superior writing and editing skills
- Outstanding oral and written communication
- Familiarity with digital content creation tools
- Familiarity with SEO writing and plain language writing, health literacy, and/or writing at different grade levels for different audiences
- Experience with digital content creation tools
- Experience with digital analytics tools
- Proven professional, able to work effectively with a variety of personality types and job levels
