Precision Point Staffing is a fast-growing staffing and direct hire agency specializing in biotech and pharmaceuticals. They are seeking a Business Development Manager who will own their growth story, focusing on building client relationships and managing the business development pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and close new business relationships with biotech and pharmaceutical companies in need of temporary staffing and/or direct hire solutions
- Own your pipeline — from cold outreach to signed contracts — with a methodical and persistent approach
- Deep-dive into target markets: understand org structures, hiring cycles, and the specific workforce needs of your prospects
- Partner closely with our recruiting team to ensure seamless delivery and a world-class client experience
- Build long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
- Maintain accurate and detailed activity tracking (CRM hygiene matters here)
- Represent the company with professionalism and expertise in every interaction
Requirements:
- 2–6 years of experience in a business development or sales role within a staffing firm
- Demonstrated ability to sell and close
- Exceptional attention to detail: in your outreach, your understanding of your market, and your follow-through
- Self-starter mentality — you set your own schedule, hold yourself accountable, and don't need external motivation to pick up the phone
- Comfort and confidence operating in a partially remote environment
- Experience selling into biotech, pharma, or life sciences accounts
- Existing relationships or a working knowledge of hiring patterns in the biopharma space
- Entrepreneurial mindset; you've seen what it looks like to build something and you want to be part of it
