Crossing Hurdles is seeking an Outbound Sales Representative who will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. The role involves generating pipeline through various outreach methods and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders in industrial sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Own the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through close
- Generate pipeline via cold calls, email outreach, trade shows, and industry networking
- Sell consultatively into operations teams, purchasing departments, and executive leadership
- Navigate RFQ-driven buying processes and complex quoting workflows
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with Operations Managers, Plant Managers, Procurement & Purchasing teams, and C-suite leadership
- Consistently meet or exceed quota targets
- Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene
- Provide structured feedback to product and AI research teams regarding industry needs and workflow realities
Requirements:
- Strong experience of B2B sales
- Experience selling into or working within metals distribution, steel service centres, industrial manufacturing, building materials, or heavy industry supply chains
- Background in consultative or technical sales cycles rather than purely transactional sales
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting and building your own book of business
- Familiarity with RFQs, quoting workflows, and relationship-based industrial sales environments
- Proven track record of quota attainment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build credibility in operational environments
