Senior Field Engineer (AV Installer)

Virginia TIP, LLC is a technical conglomerate headquartered in Chesapeake, Virginia, specializing in integrating diverse technologies. They are seeking a Senior Field Engineer (AV Installer) who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio-video systems, structured cabling, and security solutions, while ensuring project specifications are met and collaborating with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio-video systems
• Configuring equipment
• Conducting system diagnostics
• Ensuring project specifications are met
• Collaborating with clients and team members to deliver high-quality installations and system support
• Occasional travel to client sites

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Audio/Video system installation and configuration
• Proficiency in Structured Cabling installation and maintenance
• Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining CCTV and Access Control systems
• Strong technical skills and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to interact with clients and team members
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting
• Must be comfortable with occasional travel to client locations
• Prior AV/technology industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I are a plus
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, but equivalent experience is also considered
