The Role
As a Taleo Application Specialist with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Configuration and testing of new functionality and enhancements to support the Global Business, understanding the global components in the Taleo Recruiting application.
- Perform thorough quality assurance testing for all changes and upgrades on both staging and production environments.
- System configuration to support country-specific government compliance rules and regulations.
- Maintain system accuracy and integrity of the database, help design system specifications and work with the information technology staff to ensure that the system is accessible and working properly.
- Review, enter, update and maintain system content including custom correspondence, job templates, pre-screening/disqualification libraries, user set-ups, careercenter changes, global settings, translations, etc.
- Assist with all Taleo implementations, integrations, testing and documentation of all processes.
- Work closely with Oracle Taleo Support to report and resolve systemic issues, pursue enhancements, and implement configuration changes.
- Communicate enhancements and issue notifications as necessary. Maintain global data and integrity of Taleo.
- Set-up, modify and maintain Systems Security (including but not limited to adding, changing and deleting, user IDs, passwords, permissions, etc.) Maintain system accuracy and integrity of the database, help design system specifications and work with the information technology staff to ensure that the system is accessible and working properly.
- Act as project leader in supporting system updates, changes and modifications.
- Revise or direct revision of existing programs to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
- Maintain workflow processes, diagrams and charts.
- Develop test scripts for testing major service upgrades and maintenance packs.
- Act as a functional consultant to our Resourcing and People Group teams, providing resolution to functional issues within the system.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Tech Support:
- You will support the business and recruiters on all aspects of Taleo functionality to ensure efficient and effective use of the application.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to all Taleo users and candidates.
- Work with enterprise wide end users on resolving issues, demonstrating a sense of urgency.
- Serve as liaison between end users, Core Taleo team, and Technical Support Team.
- Guide functional SMEs through Tier 1 troubleshooting.
Reporting:
- Provide backup support to compile data and design special reports by creating and modifying queries using Oracle Analytics (OAS), as requested.
- Analyze and provide summary statistics as requested. Maintain flexibility and adaptability to the challenges of a unique environment with complex reporting needs.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience working with Taleo Enterprise Edition in a system administrator (not end user) capacity.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills to determine root causes of technical problems with the ability to document effectively, escalate appropriately, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to answer technical questions for non-technical users and translate technical concepts into simple terms.
- Solid experience in managing projects to completion.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Highly detail-oriented and results-driven.
- Experience & good understanding of Oracle Analytics, OBIEE, Business Objects and other reporting tools.
- Exposure to Oracle HCM and integration with Taleo (Highly desirable).
- Experience in using/exposure to Taleo Connect Client (Highly Desirable).
- Experience in using SoapUI for integration purposes (Desirable).
- Exposure to other Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) tools such as Eightfold AI (Desirable).
- Related Human Resources and/or Recruiting background is highly desired.
