CData Software is a leading provider of data connectivity solutions, enabling enterprise AI and analytics workloads for numerous global clients. The Business Development Representative will identify and secure new clients while maintaining relationships with existing customers, working closely with Account Executives to drive business success.
Responsibilities:
- Front Line Customer Interaction – Qualify customers and pass to the appropriate Account Executive
- Inbound Lead Management – Lead validation, and triage of incoming marketing leads
- Outbound Prospecting – Calling to validate unqualified marketing leads, campaign development, cold call prospecting and appointment setting for Field Account Executives
- Effectively utilize the lead qualification process and document information and activities in CRM
- Consistently achieve or exceed individual targets and established metrics to drive achievement of goals
Requirements:
- BA or BS from accredited university or equivalent business experience in technology sales
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Persuasive and unafraid to negotiate
- Possesses excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Organized and self-disciplined, with strong time-management skills
- Coachable team-player focused on winning with integrity
- Prior experience in Business Development, Sales Development or Inside Sales Role preferred
- Experience working with a CRM system, Salesforce preferred
