Role Responsibilities
The Medical Outreach Coordinator's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Develop, organize, and execute community outreach programs, events, and health education initiatives.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
• Serve as the organizational liaison at community events, health fairs, workshops, and forums to promote services and health awareness.
• Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and promotion of outreach activities across various locations.
• Manage outreach data collection, record keeping, and activity reporting.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteers and interns involved in outreach efforts.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to enhance community health engagement programs.
• Assist in the preparation of educational materials, communications, and marketing collateral for outreach initiatives.
• Monitor community needs and provide feedback to leadership to inform program development.
• Participate in external coalitions, workgroups, and committees as needed to advance health initiatives.
Role Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, public health, social work, or related field preferred.
• Experience in community outreach, health promotion, or related roles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data management tools.
• Knowledge of healthcare systems and community resources is an asset.
