Kraken is a mission-focused company that aims to accelerate the global adoption of crypto and blockchain technology. They are seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and execution of performance marketing campaigns globally, focusing on user acquisition objectives and optimizing early-stage performance across various channels.
Responsibilities:
- Build, prioritize, and maintain a strategic testing roadmap across new and novel paid channels
- Rapidly analyze performance, distill insights, and determine whether to scale, iterate, or cut channels - with a focus on hitting our aggressive CAC and payback target across all of our priority geos and customer segments
- Evaluate high-potential channels (e.g., web3 DSPs, endemic web3 publishers, emerging social platforms, gaming, beta opportunities and new ad products)
- Partner closely with our in-house creative team to develop and test new formats for emerging channels
- Drive continuous campaign improvement through rigorous KPI analysis, testing and optimization to scale user acquisition across all of your owned channels
- Work with analytics, product, and BI teams to set up tracking, measurement, and post-test analysis
- Align with brand, lifecycle, and product marketing to connect learnings across the funnel
- Turn test learnings into repeatable frameworks, best practices, and internal documentation
- Present insights, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, structured way
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience
- Experience in consumer tech products with a focus on transactional goals and demonstrated ability to optimize campaigns beyond the initial install or sign up
- Proven track record running structured tests, pilots, or growth experiments
- Experience with nontraditional or emerging platforms is a strong plus
- Comfortable with analytics tools, attribution models, and performance metrics
- Strong communication skills to simplify complex learnings for stakeholders
- Proficiency with mobile measurement partners (MMPs) such as Appsflyer or Branch
