The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for leading digital marketing strategies and execution for clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable outcomes while mentoring team members and managing client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Own the day-to-day digital execution for assigned clients, translating approved strategy into coordinated plans and high-quality delivery that drive results and a strong client experience
- Serve as the primary day-to-day digital partner for digital clients, managing execution details, timelines, optimization and proactive communication
- Translate client goals into coordinated digital marketing plans and execute campaigns across channels including paid social, search, email and marketing automation
- Monitor performance, analyze results and optimize campaigns based on data, insight and sound judgment
- Anticipate issues and opportunities early, bringing forward solutions that protect client value and momentum
- Oversee and quality-check digital deliverables to ensure work is accurate, on-strategy and client-ready
- Manage and mentor Digital Marketing Associates, reinforcing quality standards, accountability and skill development
- Use and strengthen digital systems, workflows and documentation to improve efficiency, consistency and scalability
- Contribute to organization-level digital initiatives by improving shared processes, templates and documentation that strengthen quality and consistency across accounts
- Stay current on digital marketing trends, platform changes and best practices, applying new insights to improve performance
- Represent Larson Communications with professionalism, integrity and a team-first mindset in client and internal interactions
Requirements:
- Mastery of digital marketing strategy, execution, and measurement across paid, owned, and earned digital channels
- 6–9 years of professional experience in digital marketing, communications, or related fields, with increasing levels of client ownership and leadership responsibility
- Demonstrated success serving as a primary or lead contributor on client accounts, providing strategic counsel and managing digital initiatives from concept to completion
- Strong experience developing, executing, and optimizing integrated digital campaigns that drive results such as audience growth, engagement, student enrollment, teacher recruitment, and pipeline development
- Edit, adapt and optimize video and motion-based creative for digital campaigns, including short-form video, ads and social content, ensuring assets are platform-appropriate and performance-informed
- Hands-on experience with digital platforms and tools including paid social, search advertising, email marketing, marketing automation, and analytics platforms
- Proficiency in social media management and advertising across platforms such as Google, LinkedIn, and Meta
- Familiarity with website analytics, conversion optimization, and performance reporting
- Proven ability to mentor, coach, and manage the daily work of teammates, supporting quality, growth, and accountability
- Measurable strength in managing digital systems, workflows, and processes to ensure work is efficient, scalable, and client-ready
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to navigate competing priorities and tight timelines
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public policy, or a related field
- Comfortable working remotely in an agency environment supporting multiple client engagements simultaneously
- Experience collaborating closely with communications, media relations, and creative teams to deliver integrated campaigns
- Hands-on graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) and Canva
- Interest in or experience working with education reform organizations or other mission-driven clients
