Managing Director - Tampa, Florida

Bridge Specialty Group is seeking a Managing Director to join our growing team in Tampa, FL.  

This is a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility, real autonomy, and the chance to build a high‑performing team in one of the most dynamic markets in Florida.

How You Will Contribute:  

• Lead as a player‑coach, setting clear expectations and driving accountability
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent
• Build a culture of ownership, integrity, and “get‑stuff‑done” execution
• Deliver strong P&L performance through disciplined, data‑driven decisions
• Optimize margins, manage costs, and uncover growth opportunities
• Turn insights into action—quickly and effectively
• Ensure regulatory and policy compliance
• Maintain audit readiness and proactively address risk
• Protect the business while enabling smart growth

Licenses & Certifications:  

• Active General Lines Property & Casualty (2‑20) license (or ability to obtain)

Skills & Experience to be Successful: 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business/industry experience
• 4–7+ years of experience in the wholesale insurance industry
• Proven leadership, sales, and operational success
• Strong financial and analytical acumen
• Willingness to be on‑site in Tampa and travel as needed (up to 50%)
