ERP Operational Process Specialist – Engineering & Manufacturing

ERMCO is a leading U.S. manufacturer of distribution transformers and engineered electrical solutions serving electric utilities, OEMs, and industrial customers. They are seeking an ERP Operational Process Specialist with an engineering and manufacturing background to analyze processes and apply ERP functionality for improved workflow efficiency and quality in manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

• Work with IT to align ERP functionality with operational needs in engineering and manufacturing such as: Workflows, work instructions, routings, Component part numbering and documentation, Product configuration & documentation, Change management & deviations
• Support data integrity, reporting, and analytics to improve decision-making within the engineering and manufacturing teams
• Provide end-user support and training to engineering and manufacturing associates to ensure adoption and effective use of relevant ERP tools
• Participate in testing and validation of ERP changes impacting engineering and manufacturing to ensure accuracy, usability, and reliability
• Collaborate with IT to review and advise on upgrades, new modules, and enhancements impacting engineering and manufacturing
• Build strong partnerships with IT and the engineering & manufacturing end users, acting as the liaison between these teams
• Support ERP integration with existing/new Engineering & Manufacturing infrastructure
• Collaborate Enterprise wide to ensure ERP deliverables align with organizational goals and deliver measurable impact

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Business/Information Systems, or related field
• 2+ years' experience using/deploying ERP functionality across Engineering & Manufacturing, with preference for Infor LN (other ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics also considered)
• Strong understanding of ERP-enabled business processes across engineering and manufacturing
• Ability to interpret engineering and manufacturing requirements to define ERP functionality that aligns with and supports business processes
• Experience with ERP reporting and analysis tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a continuous improvement mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and training end-users
• Adaptability and eagerness to grow alongside an ever-evolving ERP system
