Sigma Decom is seeking a high-level project manager with real field experience managing complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure removals. The role involves managing large-scale infrastructure removals and asset recovery projects, coordinating multiple trades, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full lifecycle of infrastructure decommissioning projects
- Coordinate crane operations, rigging plans, and heavy transport logistics
- Interface with mechanical and electrical contractors
- Oversee safe removal of large equipment from mechanical rooms and data centers
- Coordinate with demolition teams, rigging companies, and transport carriers
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and field teams
- Work with asset recovery teams on resale and equipment disposition
Requirements:
- 7+ years managing mechanical or industrial infrastructure projects
- Experience with data center infrastructure or large mechanical plant equipment
- Strong knowledge of rigging, crane lifts, and heavy equipment removal
- Experience coordinating mechanical and electrical contractors
- Familiarity with chillers, boilers, pumps, switchgear, and HVAC infrastructure
- Comfortable managing projects across multiple job sites
