Tramec, LLC is currently seeking a Product Marketing Manager to develop and lead the vision for launching and managing innovative products and services. The role involves executing product launch strategies, conducting market research, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure products meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Drives & supports new sales programs in targeted markets & product areas
- Key role in outlining and developing Tramec’s key sales messages across product lines
- Highly engaged with Tramec’s sales team focused on supporting product and program marketing initiatives
- Identifying customer needs and requirements for new product development
- Provides market and customer insight to assist with product vision, roadmaps, and growth opportunities
- Analyzing sales program performance and providing insights to guide future implementation
- Developing go-to-market strategies for product launches
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of product launches
- Working with stakeholders to ensure products meet customer needs and business objectives
- Analyze and monitor product financial performance results and provide feedback to stakeholders
- Monitoring competitive landscape and adjusting product strategy accordingly
- Establishing sales program KPIs and tracking progress
- Active participation in implementing pricing strategies and managing product profitability
- Ensure customers’ needs are central to product engineering and design activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 10+ years of cumulative outside sales and product management in the commercial vehicle industry
- 5+ years of experience in outside sales, including a working understanding of the various market and customer channels present in the commercial vehicle products industry
- Understanding of product life cycle management, commercial program management, and strong understanding of the application of Tramec's products on customer's equipment
- Ability to coordinate and lead successful product launches
- Strong understanding of product design principles, conducting customer needs assessments, and evolving products and programs with industry trends
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience at coordinating and collaborating on projects that include multi-departmental team members
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of data analysis tools and techniques
- Willing to travel up to 60% in support of customer & supplier meetings, and to support Tramec at industry trade shows
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- It's preferable that the ideal candidate reside within driving distance of a physical Tramec location, to act as a home hub, but is not required
