Contemporary Amperex Technology (USA), Inc. is the U.S. battery manufacturing subsidiary of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL). They are seeking a Finance professional to partner closely with business teams to support strategic financial initiatives and project financing activities.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal business teams to provide financial insights and analytical support, including evaluation of financing structures, insurance arrangements, and financial instruments
- Work closely with customers’ finance teams to coordinate and track project financing activities, supporting the successful implementation of projects and enhancing overall project competitiveness
- Support the development and execution of mid- and long-term financial strategies to enable regional business growth and expansion
- Build financial models and perform financial analysis to support investment decisions, project structuring, and commercial negotiations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial solutions align with project requirements and business objectives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in finance, corporate finance, or financial institutions such as banks, investment banks, or asset management firms
- Strong understanding of corporate financial statements and financial institution operations
- Financial Modeling & Data Analysis: Advanced Excel skills, including functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and financial modeling. Experience with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
- Risk Awareness: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify potential risks and anticipate financial issues through data analysis
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear recommendations for business leaders and stakeholders
- Problem Solving & Structured Thinking: Strong logical thinking with the ability to identify business issues through data analysis and propose structured solutions
- Industry Knowledge & Tools: Familiarity with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS), tax regulations, and financial regulatory frameworks such as anti-money laundering (AML) requirements and capital adequacy concepts
- Fluent in English, with the ability to read financial statements and participate in international business discussions
- Experience in financial product structuring such as bonds, derivatives, or investment funds
- Familiarity with global capital markets, including areas such as USD bond issuance, cross-border M&A transactions, or emerging financial technologies
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are preferred
