CDH Consulting is a quickly growing environmental consulting firm dedicated to providing innovative solutions to clients in the energy sector. The Business Development Manager will develop new clients, expand existing portfolios, and work closely with the Partner to pursue sustainable business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop effective and repeatable business development strategies to land new business via multiple channels: existing relationships, industry conferences and events, trade shows, RFP processes, cold calling, etc
- Manage clients’ activity, including maintaining budgets, schedules, and quality of service
- Ability to lead, oversee, and execute a variety of environmental compliance projects with input from subject matter experts
- Work closely with the project teams to navigate challenges and meet client needs
- Mentor and provide client management and cross-selling support to internal staff
Requirements:
- Excellent people and organizational skills and the ability to execute pre-conceived strategies with minimal oversight
- Knowledge of oil and gas processes and regulations
- Experience managing clients to ensure accurate and timely deliverables as required by regulations and client objectives
- Experience and ability to manage multiple clients with changing requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field of study
- Client management and business development experience
- A minimum of 12 years of relevant industry experience
- At least 6 years of project management experience
- Professional license (PE or PG)
