Tonkean is the world’s first totally customizable process experience platform. They are seeking a motivated and technically adept Business Development Representative to identify and qualify new business opportunities, engage with potential clients, and drive growth.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients through various channels (e.g., LinkedIn, industry events, networking)
- Conduct outbound outreach (calls, emails, social media) to engage with prospective customers and set up meetings for the sales team
- Understand the needs of potential clients, and qualify leads based on specific criteria, ensuring a good fit for our platform
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to execute campaigns, share insights, and improve processes
- Attend industry events and conferences to represent Tonkean, network with prospects, and generate leads
- Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions in Salesforce and Outreach and provide regular reports on outreach performance
- Stay updated on Tonkean’s platform, industry trends, and competitors to effectively communicate the value of our solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field
- Strong interest in technology and SaaS solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Willingness to travel for events and meetings (up to 30%)
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a problem solver
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus
- Prior sales or customer-facing experience is a bonus but not required
