The Business Development Executive for Intrafusion Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities within the East Region, focusing on expanding the adoption of infusion services among specialty practices and healthcare systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for Intrafusion services within the East Region
- Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities with specialty practices, hospitals, and integrated delivery networks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including physicians, practice administrators, and C-suite executives
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to understand prospective clients' challenges and demonstrate how Intrafusion solutions can address their specific requirements
- Present compelling value propositions and tailored solutions that highlight the benefits and ROI of Intrafusion services
- Negotiate and close complex sales agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the client and the company
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, legal, and clinical, to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing client satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM software
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and challenges
- Represent Intrafusion at industry conferences, trade shows, and other networking events as required
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of successful business development or sales experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong preference for specialty drug, RCM, or infusion services
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving significant revenue growth
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and executive-level stakeholders
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue complex sales opportunities
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel extensively within the East Region as required
- Strong understanding of the specialty drug landscape, healthcare reimbursement models, and infusion center operations is highly desirable
- 4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
- Ability to travel about 60%
