811media is a creative agency specializing in building scalable content for beauty, fashion, wellness, and lifestyle brands. They are seeking a seasoned business development and sales lead to expand their presence in North America by driving business growth through outreach and client partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and prospect brands aligned with the agency (beauty, fashion, lifestyle, wellness, DTC)
- Develop relationships with marketing leaders, brand managers, and founders
- Generate qualified meetings and pitch opportunities
- Present agency capabilities and creative offerings
- Close project-based and retainer agreements
- Maintain a pipeline of prospective clients
- Track outreach and deal progress
- Collaborate with the agency team on proposals and pricing
- Identify brands launching new products or entering growth phases
- Spot opportunities where scalable content production would benefit the client
- Introduce the agency as a strategic creative partner, not just a production vendor
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally in beauty, wellness, fashion, and/or lifestyle industries
- Strong project management and negotiation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for content & storytelling
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Understanding of the creative production process (storyboarding, scripting, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of Gen AI
