Macmillan Learning is a privately-held education publishing and services company focused on helping students succeed. As a Content Marketing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various marketing tasks, including content creation, SEO strategy, and campaign execution, while collaborating with a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) strategy, reporting, and demand generation tasks to optimize brand visibility
- Conducting a comprehensive content audit to evaluate and improve existing assets
- Assisting with content updates like blogs, whitepapers, and case studies
- Creating visual and social media content in Adobe Express, including graphics for marketing initiatives
- Supporting copywriting and video editing for content creation using tools such as Descript and CapCut
- Managing email inboxes, organizing communication, and responding to inquiries
- Conducting marketing research projects to support strategic decision-making
- Helping with short-form video creation for social media campaigns and brand storytelling
- Assisting with special projects and administrative marketing tasks as needed
Requirements:
- You must be enrolled in a degreed program (i.e. Bachelor's, Master's, etc.)
- We will accept applicants graduating from their degree in Spring 2026
- Recent graduates within the last 6 months will be considered
- Quick learner with a passion for marketing and brand experience
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing, content creation, or campaign execution
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with Adobe Express, video editing tools, or email marketing platforms is a plus
- Knowledge of Google Workspace, or similar tools preferred
