LEVELOCITI is a nationally recognized mid-sized Value-Added Reseller expanding its cybersecurity delivery team. The role involves implementing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise security solutions, with a focus on Palo Alto and Fortinet technologies, in a hands-on, client-facing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and deploy enterprise security solutions across network and cloud environments
- Configure and support Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet platforms (NGFW, centralized management, SASE/ZTNA where applicable)
- Lead firewall migrations, upgrades, and greenfield security deployments
- Implement advanced security features including IPS/IDS, URL filtering, SSL decryption, and threat prevention
- Support SD-WAN and secure connectivity solutions (IPSec / SSL VPNs)
- Conduct security assessments, health checks, and optimization initiatives
- Provide technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer to client teams
- Serve as an escalation resource for complex post-deployment issues across security and networking domains
- Collaborate with broader engineering teams on multi-domain projects (networking, cloud, identity, etc.)
Requirements:
- 5–10+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or network security delivery roles
- Strong experience with Palo Alto (PAN-OS, Panorama) and/or Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
- Deep understanding of firewall policy, NAT, VPNs, and threat prevention technologies
- Solid foundation in Layer 2/3 networking (routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, etc.) as it relates to security deployments
- Experience working in client-facing environments delivering projects end-to-end
- Strong troubleshooting skills across both network and security layers
- Ability to document, communicate, and execute in fast-paced delivery environments
- Relevant certs are a plus: PCNSE, Fortinet NSE 4/7+, CCIE Security
- Experience working within a VAR, MSP, or consulting environment
- Exposure to SASE / Zero Trust architectures (e.g., Prisma Access, FortiSASE)
- Experience with endpoint security, XDR, or cloud security platforms (Prisma Cloud, FortiEDR, etc.)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.)
- Experience with Cisco security or networking technologies
- Scripting or automation experience (Python, PowerShell) is a plus
