k-ID is the global leader in privacy-first compliance and age verification infrastructure. They are seeking a commercially driven Sales Development Representative to help build a pipeline across the AI sector by identifying and engaging prospective enterprise customers among technology organizations focused on youth safety, privacy, identity, and age assurance.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and research high value AI accounts and target buyers across North America
- Build and manage outbound prospecting campaigns across email, LinkedIn, events follow up, and other channels
- Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for the enterprise sales team and founders
- Develop tailored messaging for different buyer personas including product, legal, privacy, trust and safety, policy, security, and engineering leaders
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on strategic fit, urgency, and buying potential
- Maintain consistent activity levels and performance against pipeline generation goals
- Map target accounts and identify relevant stakeholders, pain points, product launches, regulatory exposure, and integration needs
- Track developments across the AI ecosystem relating to youth safety, privacy, age assurance, and platform governance
- Help identify high priority segments including model providers, consumer AI products, education technology, creator tools, and developer platforms
- Provide structured feedback to leadership on messaging, objections, and market signals
- Maintain accurate records in HubSpot for outreach, account activity, and qualification notes
- Partner closely with marketing, account executives, customer success, and founders on account strategy and follow up
- Prepare concise handoff notes to support smooth transition of qualified opportunities into later stage sales conversations
- Support pipeline reviews and outbound reporting
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of experience in sales development, business development, inside sales, or other outbound commercial roles in SaaS or technology
- Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline through outbound prospecting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort with high volume, high quality outreach and disciplined follow up
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools such as HubSpot, Apollo, Outreach, or similar platforms
- Ability to research accounts, identify decision makers, and tailor messaging effectively
- Highly organized and able to operate independently in a high growth startup environment
- Experience selling into AI companies, developer platforms, digital platforms, or fast growing technology companies
- Familiarity with API driven products, infrastructure, developer tooling, trust and safety, or compliance technology
- Understanding of privacy, online safety, youth protection, age verification, or AI governance trends
- Experience engaging stakeholders across product, legal, privacy, trust and safety, policy, and security teams
- Strong interest in the evolving AI ecosystem and the commercial opportunity around safer and more compliant AI products
