Job Title: Support Technician (Warehouse & IT Support)
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Support Technician to assist with IT equipment, inventory management, and basic technical support for schools and administrative offices. This role involves handling hardware, supporting field technicians, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage support tickets for parts and equipment requests
- Maintain and track IT inventory (laptops, desktops, printers, etc.)
- Pick up and deliver equipment across school locations
- Order and restock IT parts as needed
- Update and maintain asset records in the system
- Install applications and perform OS updates (Windows & Apple devices)
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, network, and printer issues
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT teams
- Perform routine checks of computer labs, devices, and classroom technology
- Document all work in the ticketing system
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Windows and Apple devices
- Experience with inventory or asset tracking systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow processes and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of IT support or related experience
- CompTIA A+ (preferred for senior/lead roles)
- Microsoft certification (a plus)
