Taylor Corporation is a dynamic, diversified company with big plans for the future. They are seeking a Business Systems Analyst IV to collaborate with stakeholders, document requirements, and support product owners in managing the product roadmap.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements
- Author, maintain, and organize user stories, acceptance criteria, and bug reports in tools such as Azure Dev Ops
- Conduct impact analysis and root cause investigations for complex business problems
- Translate technical concepts into clear, concise documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Support product owners in prioritizing backlog items and refining the product roadmap
- Champion continuous improvement and Agile best practices across teams
- May provide guidance and mentoring to junior business analysts supporting the platform
- Travel up to 10% of the time for vendor meetings, conferences, and stakeholder engagement
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in Agile/Scrum environments
- Demonstrated experience writing user stories, managing bugs, and working with cross-functional teams
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in tools such as Azure Dev Ops and Visio
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with requirements management and visualization tools (e.g., Azure Dev Ops, Confluence, Visio)
- Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, trends, and competitive landscape
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management principles
- Understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and user experience principles
- Ability to develop and execute on a product vision that aligns with organizational goals
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and derive actionable insights
- Proven ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders with competing priorities
- Expert in eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements
- Sufficient technical knowledge to have credible conversations with development teams and vendors
- Ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions to complex problems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Ability to influence without authority and drive organizational change
- Deep understanding of customer needs and ability to champion customer experience
- Product Management or Business Analysis certification preferred (e.g., CSPO, PMP, CBAP)
