Product Manager, Logistics & Transportation

Avathon is the only physical AI unicorn headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, and they are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the development of AI-based Logistics Planning and Transportation Management software solutions. The role involves driving product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful implementation of product features.

Responsibilities:

• Drive product strategy and roadmap planning for Logistics, Transportation, and Global Trade Management solutions
• Define product requirements for shipment visibility, carrier management, and load optimization capabilities
• Lead the end-to-end product development process from ideation to launch
• Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to prioritize features for AI-driven logistics automation
• Work on carrier onboarding, rating/routing, and shipment lifecycle management features
• Define requirements for global trade compliance including tariff classification, customs, and trade regulations
• Drive EDI integration capabilities and carrier collaboration workflows
• Gather customer feedback, contribute to proposals, provide input to product pricing, and help drive customer adoption
• Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success
• Present product updates and roadmap plans to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and support product launches
