Sprezzatura is a mission-driven, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in secure, scalable, and human-centered digital solutions. The Project Manager will lead technology projects for the VA, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline while managing cross-functional teams and client communications.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and overall management of project activities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and key stakeholders
- Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting activities
- Ensure delivery of project objectives in accordance with contract requirements
- Manage schedule, cost, risk, and performance metrics
- Lead cross-functional teams to support technical, operational, and administrative requirements
- Manage a team of technical subject matter experts in maintaining legacy mainframe platform and support migration to open systems
- Manage sustainment software changes and configuration updates
- Consolidate and enhance reporting tools
- Ensure successful batch transaction processing, disbursements, and reporting; Support integration of additional data elements and reconciliation processes
- Assist in defining and translating requirements (Epics → Features → User Stories)
- Manage dependencies, sequencing, and risk analysis for VA-wide financial systems
- Provide sustainment support through Jira, ServiceNow (SNOW), VA PARS, and VASID
- Deliver weekly status reports, PMR updates, scorecards, and OMR inputs
- Support full Disaster Recovery (DR) cycles
- Coordinate with Infrastructure Operations on vulnerabilities, patches, upgrades, and maintenance
- Facilitate communication and coordination among internal and external partners
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies as needed
- Support transition activities, including knowledge transfer and continuity planning
- Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and quality standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated experience managing projects of similar size, scope, and complexity
- Compliance with FMFIA and OMB Circulars A-130, A-127, A-123
- Experience supporting government or commercial contracts (as applicable)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Familiarity with industry-standard project management methodologies and tools
- Permanent Residents or U.S. Citizenship (Required)
